Life simply isn’t fair. Oftentimes, bad things happen to us even when we are striving to live in a Christ-honoring way. It just feels unjust.

Further, sometimes others don’t play fair. We periodically must endure the negative consequences of someone else’s bad behavior. This, too, is injustice.

And if we are completely honest, we must admit that there have been times when we have acted in ways that hurt others causing them to suffer unjustly.

Injustice is just a fact of life. Fortunately, God reveals in James 5:7-11 how we are to think about and respond to injustice.
