This is not the beginning of blogging for me. I’ve blogged on Blogger (click here to access my site) since January 2011. I was blessed enough to get over 42,000 site views in that time.
Even more importantly, I had fun doing it. That’s intriguing because I didn’t simply dislike creative writing in school – I loathed it! But something happened after I hit 40 years of age. I realized that I had some things that needed to change (so I started my running habit among other things) and I realized that I had gained so many insights and life experiences that I needed to share them (so I began blogging).
I’m making the switch to WordPress (maybe permanently) because the functionality and aesthetics of WordPress seems much more impressive. I’ll try it out for a month or so and then make the decision as to whether I keep using this site or go back to Blogger. (I suspect I’m here to stay.)
