I began blogging in January 2011. Then, in October 2017, I switched over to my current website on WordPress.

Little did I realize when I started writing online how fun it would be! The fact that people are visiting my site, and sometimes leaving a comment, makes it all the more rewarding!

As you can see in the following screenshot (I’m not bragging; I just want you to see that people are actually visiting my site), there have been over 23,000 views and about 13,000 visitors so far this year. It grows each year and this does not include the lengthy list of folks who simply get my articles delivered to their e-mail inbox and don’t visit my website.

So, I’m going to keep writing in 2021. However, I’m making some adjustments. Let me elaborate on some of those adjustments and ask you to respond if you have some ideas for how you think I could improve.

Beginning on January 1, 2021, I’m going to begin yet another journey through the Bible in a year. I will use the One Year Bible reading plan.

The theme of 2021 is spiritual renewal and revival. I want each day’s post to highlight a verse or principle in the day’s readings that help us to understand how we can experience and enjoy our God more meaningfully.

Each day’s post will include the Bible reading for the day, a verse(s) for the day, and some reflections. I will no longer include the written prayer. I will try to limit my comments to 500 words or less, which means each one can be read in 5 minutes or less. (Some of my posts this year were a bit lengthy!)

So, what do you think? Any helpful ideas for me to consider as I prepare for these adjustments in January 2021? You can email me (mattellis1997@gmail.com) or simply post your questions or comments in the “Leave a Reply” section below.

God bless!
