Our Trip to Israel: King David’s Tomb

We visited what is believed to be King David’s Tomb today in the Old City section of Jerusalem. It is not certain that his remains (or the dust of his remains) is actually what is in the Tomb. But many of the people here believe it is.

I took video (discretely) as I went into the room. Many Jews were sitting in chairs chanting what I think was the Torah (or some other Hebrew text). Three Jews were at the Tomb praying and chanting.

Here’s the relevant biblical text…

1 Kings 2:10 “Then David slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David.”
