2 Samuel 24:25 (CSB): “He built an altar to the LORD there and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD was receptive to prayer for the land, and the plague on Israel ended.”

Last summer, on May 31, my wife and I visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. I wrote a lengthy blog post in Jerusalem to convey how special the location of the Temple Mount is and I used plenty of Scripture to back up my claim.

If you want to read the article (that should take about 9 minutes to read), you can click on the following link: “Our Trip to Israel: Temple Mount”.

One more thing: In the previous article, I treated the traditional site of the Temple Mount as the place where the actual Temple once rested. I have since come to question the location. You can read about my current thoughts on the Temple’s location (that should take about 19 minutes to read), by clicking the following link: “Was the Jerusalem Temple Destroyed? Completely?”
