TODAY’S BIBLE VERSE(S):

REFLECTIONS ON TODAY’S BIBLE VERSE(S):

In our Verses for Today, King David acknowledged a few things.

He began by stating the obvious – that humanity is unworthy of God’s notice. But, then, he clearly implied that God did take notice. And he stood in wonder at why God would do such a thing.

But, then as verse 5 begins, he says: “LORD, part your heavens and come down…”

Friends, this is precisely what God did! He sent His Son to be born that first Christmas morning so that He could pursue an even more intimate relationship with us.

Why He would do such a thing is beyond our comprehension. But, to those who gladly receive Him, there is an adventure of journeying deep into the heart of God and enjoying Him in this life and in the one to come.

On this Christmas day as so many gifts are opened, have you received the greatest gift of all? The gift of forgiveness and eternal life by trusting in Jesus and what He did on the cross for you? Why not do that today? Right now?
