3 Minute Read + Scripture readings

Today’s Bible Reading:

Deuteronomy 2
Psalms 83-84
Isaiah 30
Jude 1

Today’s Bible Verse(s):

Psalm 84:10–12 (CSB): “Better a day in your courts than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than live in the tents of wicked people. For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord grants favor and honor; he does not withhold the good from those who live with integrity. Happy is the person who trusts in you, Lord of Armies!”

Reflections on Today’s Bible Verse(s):

Our verses for today express the joy to be had in God’s presence.

Rather than spend my time (and potentially waste your time) elaborating on these easy-to-understand verses, I want to simply ask you to go back and slowly read each phrase, stopping periodically to reflect on what truth God is revealing to you.

Lord Jesus, I know that there is more to the Christian life than I am currently experiencing. I don’t want to simply do religious stuff. I want to know and enjoy You more. Please fan into flame this desire within my heart and then reward me with Your wonderful presence when I seek You with all of my heart. Amen.
