Reflections on Today’s Bible Verse(s):
When we speak of the omni’s of God, we are referring to His:
- Omniscience
- Omnipresence
- Omnipotence
Omniscience: God knows all things completely.
Omnipresence: God is completely all places at all times.
Omnipotence: God is able to do absolutely anything He wants to do.
When we look at Psalm 139, we see these three illustrated. Yet, they aren’t defined in some boring way.
Instead, they are illustrated in a deeply personal way. The Psalmist describes God’s Omniscience, Omnipresence, and Omnipotence in how God relates to him.
Just go back and read the Psalm. Observe how He reveals God to be deeply personal and interested in his (the Psalmist’s) life.
- God’s omniscience (Psalm 139:1-6)
- God’s omnipresence (Psalm 139:7-12)
- God’s omnipotence (Psalm 139:13-16)

Lord Jesus, You are greater than I could ever imagine. You know all things perfectly, You are completely everywhere at all times, and You can do absolutely anything You desire to do. Help me to come into a greater understanding of who You are so that I can enjoy You and worship You in a way that is enjoyable to me and worthy of You.
