Reflections on Today’s Bible Verse(s):
I won’t say much about the verse I have chosen for today because it is so clear and is as refreshing as a cold mountain spring.
“The Lord does whatever pleases Him”
Our God truly is in control of the events in our life and the world around us. When life seems out of control, it’s not. God is doing as He pleases. When “bad” things happen, God either willed them or allowed them to happen. He is always actively working out His ultimate plan, which brings Him pleasure.
“The Lord does whatever pleases Him”
So, my friend, rest in God’s mighty power and overwhelming control of all things.
“The Lord does whatever pleases Him”
