REFLECTIONS ON TODAY’S BIBLE VERSE(S):

The book of Proverbs is full of all sorts of wonderful wisdom nuggets. They are general truths to live by.

In our Verse for Today, we are essentially warned against “ratting” on an employee to his boss. Of course, there are times when we must report a major problem to a superior. But, our Verse for Today reminds us that we probably aren’t going to make friends when we do so.

Now, let me address something else. We all need wisdom. We all need insight into how to better live the one life that God has given to us. If you want to grow in wisdom, then pray for it like James 1:5 says. But, then you should begin reading the Proverbs. One way of reading Proverbs that many have found to be beneficial is to read the chapter that corresponds to the day of the month. Why not commit to reading through the Proverbs over the next 31 days?
