Reflections on Today’s Bible Verse(s):
Our Verse for Today is so comforting, isn’t it? It reminds us of how powerful our God is.
The truth of Jeremiah 32:17 is never so precious as when our life seems to be out of control. Bills may be piling up. An unjust boss may be out to get us. Our child may be rejecting what we taught them. A marriage may be falling apart.
Yet, we are reminded that God, who made the Heavens and the earth, is Almighty! Nothing, absolutely nothing, is too difficult for Him!
That is such a comforting thought. But, it remains only a thought to us if we do not appropriate it. Our troubles may continue even though God is powerful enough to do something about them.
So, spend much time in prayer.
Call out to God Almighty.
Ask Him for what you need while you rest in the fact that He could easily answer your prayer if He knows that it will be for your good and His glory.
So, today, realize that you serve a big God! And let that thought cause you to rest in Him and call out to Him in prayer.

Lord Jesus, my thoughts and behaviors often demonstrate that I don’t truly believe You are as big and powerful and I say You are. If I really, REALLY believed what the Bible says about You, I would gladly and completely rest in You regardless of how torrential the winds and waves of life become. Help me today to believe, even more deeply, that nothing is too difficult for You. And help me to truly experience this deeper belief by finding my heart quietly resting in You. Amen.
