Deuteronomy 29:1-30:20
Luke 11:37-12:7
Psalm 78:1-31
Proverbs 12:19-20

Today’s Bible Verse(s):

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (NLT): “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Reflections on Today’s Bible Verse(s):

I will not elaborate on our Verses for Today. They are easy enough to understand.

I will simply encourage you to go back to read and re-read Deuteronomy 30:19-20. Consider reading those verses slowly 5-10 times. Allow God to speak each word to your mind and heart.

Then reflect on what it says to see if there are any adjustments you need to make in your life. Ask God’s Holy Spirit to probe your mind and heart to see if any sins need to be confessed.

Determine to finish your time in Deuteronomy 30:19-20 with a clean heart, a clear mind, and a renewed resolve to live for Jesus.
