3 Minute Read
Be Still
To the best of your ability, get rid of all distractions. Take a couple of minutes to breathe deeply, to quiet yourself in the Lord’s presence. Then, prayerfully ask the Lord to speak to you in this time and let Him know that you will be listening and will make whatever adjustments He will reveal to you.
Today’s Bible Reading:
Daniel 1:1–2:23
1 Peter 3:8–4:6
Psalm 119:65-80
Proverbs 28:14
Listen to the Lord
Slowly and reflectively read the following verses and listen to what God will say to you through them. Then, consider writing down any insights He reveals to you.
1 Peter 3:10-12 (NLT): “For the Scriptures say, ‘If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil.’”
Reflections from Scripture:
Simply reflect on the verses that I have chosen for today. They are incredible!
Spend Time in Prayer
Lord Jesus, I want to live in a way that brings a smile to Your face. I want to study Your Word to understand it and live by it. But I cannot do it on my own. I desperately need You to enable me to do this. Thank You in advance. I pray this in Your Name, Amen.
